Digital Manufacturing

The goal of this project was to perform lattice optimization on an object of choice ot increase its mechanical properties while reducing its mass. I decided to re-design the structure of a cup with a heater protector, as it is something that we could all use in our daily life. I was inspired by the glass cups, but I believed a few adjustmets could be implemented. Below are some pictures and screenshots of the workpage on nTop, a computational engineering software on which I was able to combine synthesized geometry and simulation results into finely tuned manufacturing models.
